Creating conversations across Canada with the Neurodivergent Community
Building connections can be a challenge. Working with lived experience, expertise and being absolutely fed up with no solutions, we proudly introduce: NimbleND. An opportunity to connect, learn and build a strong neurodivergent community to connect all Canadians.
What are we building? An opportunity to connect with other neurodivergent folks across Canada! Our JobLab and Games Night participants asked for a social event that is both structured but allows for particular interests. We also want to connect you to neurodivergent experts across Canada.
* The format is monthly meetups online.
* Join us for the first 30-40 minutes and learn from an expert.
* The next 1.5 hours is social connection time.
* We’ll have breakout rooms for folks to connect AND topic specific rooms that are lead by community members. All in all – 2 hours to safely meet and connect online!
Will it only be online? To start, yes but our goal is to expand our existing groups and encourage in person meetups.
SPEAKERS
Each month we’ll have a new speaker who will share their expertise on a variety of topics. We’ve asked our participants what they wish they knew growing up neurodivergent, what skills they wish they’d learned earlier and what their learning goals are now. We’ll bring together the folks to answer the questions!
VOLUNTEERS
If you’re interested in running a breakout room, let us know! We’re looking for individuals who are comfortable in a new group, have an interest they’d like to share and are open to learning how to run a breakout room successfully! This is NOT a sales opportunity. It’s a chance to safely engage with other folks and have fun!

These are some of the topics that our JobLab, Games Night and D and D group have shared that they’d like to find folks to connect about. The good news? We’ll be collecting ideas for topics and breakout rooms during each session!
